How it is calculated
The ERC rebuilds only the purchase cost each week — excise, margin, transport and the levies are carried forward unchanged. So the model forecasts that one component, tracking exchange-traded gasoline and diesel (RBOB and ULSD) priced in euro, since the denar is pegged to the euro. The price is then reassembled through the same structure the ERC publishes.
What the model cannot see
Excise is a policy decision, not a market price — the government changed it five times in the past year, often precisely to soften a price spike. When that happens, the forecast for that week will not hold.
This is Gorivo Metar’s own estimate, not an ERC decision. The official price is set by the ERC and may differ.
